BUFFALO, N.Y. – Pittsburgh, the Twin Cities, and Grand Rapids have all tapped local talent to join their stations in the respective cities.
Producer Mitch Simon (top right) has left WKBW-TV to take a producing job in Pittsburgh at KDKA-TV. He had been with WKBW-TV since January of 2013 and produced a number of different shows during his time. Simon is a Buffalo State College graduate and also had a brief stint on-air on the morning show in 2013.
Producer/host Matthew Coller (bottom left) from WGR-AM bid goodbye to listeners of the sports talk station this past Friday. He had spent the last 5 years with that station and worked as the morning drive producer for Howard Simon and Jeremy White. In addition, he was a pre and post-game coverage for the Buffalo Bills. His new position will be as an analyst for the Minnesota Vikings for KSTP-AM in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Finally, morning anchor Teresa Weakley (bottom right) will be leaving WIVB-TV in mid-September to take a position with WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her last day will be Friday, September 16 after being with the station for 3 years. Her future role at the station has not be disclosed as of yet.
