Judging Criteria for
Buffalo Excellence in Media Awards
1. Eligibility: All radio, television and print media outlets are encouraged to
enter the Buffalo Excellence in Media Awards.
2. All entries are to be submitted on line at the designated nomination link
provided at
www.buffalobroadcasters.com. The decision by the judging panel is
final. In addition, the panel has the right to make additional nominations for
specific categories in the event of receiving less than the five nominations in
a specific category.
3. Any audio or video submitted on-line may not exceed two (2) minutes in length
and must contain excerpts from programming material actually used by the media
during the year. In addition, it should relate to the written portion of the
entry with which it is submitted.
4. Nomination descriptions submitted online should contain a maximum of 1,000
characters to be considered.
5. Any violations of the above criteria will result in automatic
disqualification of entry.
6. Deadline for entries is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011.
