Veteran broadcast journalist Joanna Pasceri was sworn in as the first-ever Public Information Officer for the Erie County District Attorney’s office on Tuesday.

The DA has announced that the new position is part of a “strategic effort to better inform the public of the work” of his office.

“We are excited to have Joanna join our outstanding leadership team, and welcome her to her new position serving the people of Erie County. She will help the media communicate to the people we serve,” said Acting District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr.

WBTA Radio in Batavia, New York celebrated its 75th on-air anniversary on Saturday. The Buffalo Broadcasters Association congratulates them on a proud and enduring legacy.
