A change in leadership is coming for the Buffalo Association of Black Journalists.

Anchor/reporter Madison Carter will take over as president of the Buffalo Association of Black Journalists starting in January of 2020.

The Buffalo Association of Black Journalists is a chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. Carter is taking over for outgoing president Rod Watson from the Buffalo News.

Carter, who joined WKBW-TV in the summer of 2018. She previously worked in Charlottesville, Virginia, before coming Western New York. She is currently the station’s noon anchor and also reports for the ABC affiliate.
