The Buffalo Broadcasters Association has filled two vacancies on its board of directors.

Stephen Marth and Paul Chiaravalloti are joining the BBA board.

Marth is a senior producer for Time Warner Cable News.  He also coordinates TWC’s internship program.  Marth is a 2010 graduate of the University at Buffalo.  He was editor of UB’s student newspaper, The Sprectrum, and also was a DJ on the student station WRUB.  Marth joined TWC, then YNN, as a freelance news assistant and quickly moved up to assignment editor and then producer.  He was promoted to senior producer in November 2013.

Chiaravalloti is an attorney who runs his own law firm in Williamsville.  He earned his law degree from the University at Buffalo.  Chiaravalloti has an interest in broadcasting.  He is concerned about the quality of radio and TV programming, particularly as it affects our community.

The vacancies were created when Lea DiCenso and Ron Rice left the BBA board.  Both remain involved with the organization by working to increase the number of sponsors to fund our various events and activities.
