Buffalo, NY â€” Entercom Buffalo announced today that Emily Wild has been hired to be the new Morning Drive Host/Music Director for Alternative Buffalo 107.7|104.7FM (WLKK). Wild comes to Alternative Buffalo from her position as the Afternoon Drive Host & Music Director for Entercomâ€™s 98-PXY (WPXY) in Rochester, NY. She also has past on-air experience working for Entercomâ€™s WBZA, WCMF, and WBEE.
Wild Graduated from The University at Buffalo in Amherst, NY with a BA in Psychology, and from Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY with an Associateâ€™s Degree in Applied Science/Visual Communications Technology.
Alternative Buffalo Program Director Nik Rivers said, â€œWe were looking for a special person to fill the morning drive position on what has become a very special station in Alternative Buffalo. We needed someone who could be the face of and speak to the Alt Family, and we found her in Emily Wild. Emilyâ€™s first day at Alternative Buffalo will be Monday March 21st.
