From The Post-Journal: Jim Roselle, 89, a longtime radio personality whose career spanned over 6 decades, has died.

“Our entire staff is saddened by the loss of Jim,” said Rick Brodowski, Media One Group station manager. “No words can express how we are all feeling. We are truly mourning the loss of not just one of the best radio broadcasters the business has ever known, but one of the best citizens the Jamestown area has had the honor to call one of their own.”

During his 61 years on the air, he hosted numerous programs including The Jim Roselle Show, which aired weekdays from 9am-12pm.

He had also spent the past 41 years broadcasting from the grounds of the Chautauqua Institution and those plans, according to The Post-Journal, are expected to continue. Programming related to Jim Roselle will be aired on WJTN in the coming weeks.
