WYRK-FM, one of the area’s most listened to stations, has made a change to their morning show.
Liz Mantel has left the station, according to her personal website and Country Aircheck. She joined the station in 2013 as a co-host of the morning show with Clay Moden and Dale Mussen.
Before moving to Western New York, Mantel worked at stations across Ohio after graduating from Bowling Green.
Mantel left that station at the beginning of January and posted to Twitter recently about her time at the station. She has not disclosed her future plans at this time.
For now, Rob Banks will take over the producer role of the morning show with Clay Moden as host of “Clay and Company.” No word on a replacement for the morning show.
Homecoming alert for two Western New York natives who spent time away from the Queen City but have are will be returning.
Corinne Lettieri has rejoined WGRZ-TV as an Executive Producer. She returns to the station after working at WCNC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina as a producer. She was previously a producer for Daybreak before her move down south.
Also, the Buffalo News reported that Marlee Tuskes (right) will be joining WIVB-TV as a reporter in March. She’s originally from Williamsville and completed her undergraduate degree at UB. In 2017, Tuskes graduated from Syracuse University with her master’s and is working in Utica, New York as a multimedia journalist at WUTR-TV.
