In 1974, Buffalo Bob Smith starred in a number of television commercials for Bells Supermarkets. Sherwin Greenberg Productions filmed the spots for Bells' advertising agency Barber & Drullard. During the early 1970s Smith career experienced a rebirth when he traveled to hundreds of college, visiting members of the "Peanut Gallery" who were then in their 20s. Smith was inducted into the Western New York Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 1998.
