WEBR's "Lucky" Pierre Gonneau interviews the Town Casino's Harry Altman during a benefit on August 10, 1957. The live broadcast was to raise money for a young Eggertsville boy who was electrocuted by a 2,400 volt power line. Gonneau began his career at WWOL-AM before going over to WEBR and WBNY-AM. He was most recognized for his romantic French accent and was a fixture on the 1950's record hop circuit.
