The Buffalo Broadcasters Association remembers veteran WBEN host Tom Kelly, who passed away at his home in Maine.

Kelly, whose real name was Tom Pagnotti, began his radio career in Springfield, Massachussets in 1977. He went on to be a mid day host on WBEN from 1982 to 1986, followed by work on the airwaves in Denver, Colorado and Washington, D.C. More recently, Kelly did freelance and commercial work out of his home and studio in Maine, and hosted a program on Maine history.

Kelly was known for his dynamic voice and dedication to charitable works. He recently turned 57.
