WIVB-TV was the first station in the market to launch a 4 p.m. and now they will be the first to launch a 6:30 p.m. newscast airing on its sister station, WNLO-TV. The station had been airing promos for the new newscast, which will begin on Monday, January 15, 2018.
Big news! We’re launching a 6:30 newscast on @cw23buffalo starting January 15th. I’m excited to co-anchor it with @DaveGreber4. You’ll also soon start seeing Dave with me every afternoon on #News4at4! @news4buffalo pic.twitter.com/nM5tmHCopM

In addition, Dave Greber was named co-anchor of the newscast alongside Christy Kern and the duo will also anchor the 4 p.m. newscasts. You may remember Greber had filled in for Don Postles while he was on medical leave. Before coming to Buffalo, Greber worked as an evening anchor for WBNG-TV in Binghamton.
Local comedian and afternoon radio host Tony Pusateri had his final broadcast on Friday, December 15 on Mix 96 (WMSX-FM).
Pusateri was a newcomer to the radio scene, after spending a decade working and performing in Las Vegas and returning to Buffalo, and joined the staff in July of 2016. In September 2016, he was paired up with afternoon co-host Val Townsend to host, “Because I Said So.”
No word yet on if a replacement will be named to fill Pusateri’s spot.
