“Greater Media, Inc. announces Heidi Raphael has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Communication.  She most recently served in the role of Vice President of Corporate Communication since February of 2008.

The Western New York native began her radio career at WGRF-FM and WHTT-FM in Buffalo, New York. Raphael has been consistently recognized among the “Most Influential Women in Radio” by Radio Ink magazine on an annual basis since 2006.

She is the past spokesperson and executive committee member of the Mentoring & Inspiring Women (MIW) Radio Group. A former NAB Radio Board member, Raphael currently serves on the board of the Library of American Broadcasting and is the current President of the Buffalo Broadcasters Association. In addition, she is a member of the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Greater Media, Inc. is the parent company of 21 AM and FM radio stations in the Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, New Jersey and Philadelphia markets.  The company also owns a group of weekly newspapers in central New Jersey and several telecommunications towers located throughout the United States.”
